In the dBASE command window...
use mytable
edit
The edit view of the table comes up with a large label at the top of the
main form, not the form's title bar, that says Mytable. This label is
redundant because the name of the table is in the form's title bar
saying "mytable.dbf - Table". The label however, takes up precious
screen space if one wants to see all the fields of the table.
I have just been doing a job where I have the dBASE window sized so that
several web pages are also available on screen, so layout is important.
I know I can scroll the label off screen but there is no good reason I
can see why this label is there at all.
I wish it were removed by default.
